Johnson, Contracting Officer, (206) 764-2176 The VA Puget Sound Health Care System, 1660 South Columbian Way, Seattle, Washington, intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement with bioMerieux Vitek, Inc., 595 Anglum Drive, Hazelwood, MO 63042 for Vitek Systems Sensi Cards, Vitek Reagent Test Kits, Vidas Immunoassay Test Kits and Vitek/Vidas Consumables required for government owned equipment for the following VISN 20 Locations: VA Medical Center, Seattle, Washington, VA Medical Center, Boise, Idaho and VA Medical Center Roseburg, Oregon. VIDAS Immunoassay Test System Instrument estimated quantities are for a base period with Option to Renew provisions for four (4) additional one-year periods. Vitek equipment will work only with Vitek cards/Test Kits that the vendor manufactures and this is the only known source for these items. This procurement is under the authority of FAR 6.302. All proposals received within 10 days of the date of this notice will be considered by the Government.
