The 45th Contracting Squadron intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the BOC Group, Murray Hill, NJ on behalf of the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC), Materials Directorate, for repairs to specialized gas analysis equipment electronics. This sole source acquisition is justified under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Evaluation of the contractor's unique capability and acquisition history concluded that the specialized effort required is available from only one source. Contractor personnel require DOD security clearances of at least the SECRET level and participation requires both a facility and storage capability security clearance of at least SECRET. A Nuclear Regulatory approved Radioactive Materials License is required. The SIC for this acquisition is 8734 and Small Business size standard is %5.0 million. No solicitation documents exists at this time. The 45th Contracting Squadron has determined that the BOC Group is the only source capable of providing the necessary services.
