completely assembled and aligned on a mounting base with a coupling
guard. 2. The pump shall be suitable for pumping cooling tower water at
a temperature range of 40 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. 3. The pump flow
rate shall be a minimum of 96 GPM at 1500 psig. 4. The pump inlet
pressure will be 50 psig. 5. The fluid viscosity shall be 1
centistokes. 6. The inlet and outlet connections for each pump shall be
suitable for mating with Code 61 SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers)
O-ring flanges. The inlet connection shall be 3 inches and the outlet
connection shall be 2 inches. 7. Shall be a positive displacement gear

Procedures (SAP). NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from IMO PUMP;
WE ARE INCREASING THE CAPACITY OF THE HIGH PRESSURE COOLING WATER
SYSTEM IN ASCR BY ADDING AN ADDITIONAL PUMP. THE PUMP SPECIFIED IS AN
EXACT DUPLICATE OF THE EXISTING PUMPS IN THE FACILITY. THE FACILITY
PIPING WAS INSTALLED WITH PROVISIONS TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL PUMP. GETTING
AN IMO PUMP THAT IS AN EXACT DUPLICATE WILL RESULT IN MAINTAINING THE
STANDARDIZING OF ALL PUMPS, MINIMIZING THE INSTALLATION COSTS, AND
OPTIMIZING THE MAINTAINANCE SINCE ALL PUMP PARTS WILL BE
INTERCHANGEABLE AND SPARE PARTS WILL BE MINIMIZED. The Government
intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested
firms have FIFTEEN (15)days from the publication of this synopsis to
submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their
qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be
used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct
this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the
