provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, supplies,
transportation, quality control, coordination, supervision, necessary
to perform the following: (a) Install a complete electronic evidence
presentation system in Courtroom #1 at the Paul G. Rogers Courthouse
Building located 701 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, (b) The
contractor shall be responsible for transportating all government
furnished equipment (GFE) located at the Miami Federal Courthouse to
the project site, Paul G. Rogers Courthouse Building at West Palm
Beach, and integrate all the components into the courtroom, (c) Install
electrical infra-structure required for system implementation, (d)
Install projector in ceiling space, (e) Cut projection port into wall,
(f) Furnish and install projection screen, (g) Program electronic
equipment and (h) Furnish and install all miscellaneous wiring,
connectors, in accordance with the specifications/drawings/statement of
work, for a complete functional system. Thejob site will be kept
orderly and clean. Due to court's proceedings, all work that generates
noise, has to be done prior to 9:00A.M.and/or after 5:00p.m. Monday
through Friay, excluding Holidays. Contractor may work on Saturdays
provided that a 72 hours notification is given to the government. This
work when completed will provide for a complete electronic evidence
presentation system. All contractor's employee (including
subcontractors) assigned to work at the courthouse are subject to a
NCIC and local police records check prior to be allowed to work. Any
employee receiving an unfavorable clearance will not be allowed at the
courthouse complex. Upon request by the contracting officer, the
contractor shall provide all personal data required, in order to
conduct the security checks. All contractors are required to be
licensed and insured. Contractor's vehicles must display the
contractor's name such that it is clearly visible. The request for
quote (RFQ) may be issued on/about 29 May 1999. The standard industrial
classification code is 1731. The size standard is $7.0 million. The
estimated performance period is three weeks after notice to proceed.
Notice to proceed is subject to the availability of the court room. The
cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Telephone requests for
solicitation package will not be honored. A limited number of this RFQ
will be printed thus copies will be distributed on a
"first-come-first-served" basis. All requests for the RFQ packages must
be submitted in writing to the U.S. District Court, Facility Management
Section, Room 213, 300 NE First Ave, Miami, Fl 33132 or fax request to
