The purpose of this modification is to make the following changes in the Request for Quotations (RFQ). The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking to place purchase order(s) for REVIEWS of Rent Comparability Studies (RCS), utilizing form HUD-92273, in connection with the renewal of Section 8 project-based contracts for HUD's South Carolina State Office (this is NOT a request for Appraisal Services, only for REVIEWS). The geographical area covered by this solicitation is still the entire State of South Carolina. THE FOLLOWING CHANGE APPLIES TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA GEOGRAPHICAL AREA: THE QUOTERS MAY, IF THEY CHOOSE, SUBMIT SEPARATE QUOTES TO DO THESE REVIEWS FOR ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING GEOGRAPHIC AREAS WITHIN THE STATE: NORTHWEST REGION, CENTRAL REGION, NORTHEAST REGION, AND SOUTHERN REGION (a list delineating the counties that comprise each of these areas will be included in the amended RFQ). On page 2 of the RFQ dated December 16, 1998, Items e.2. and 4., change "Appraisal Reviews of Rent Comparability Studies" to read: REVIEWS OF RENT COMPARABILITY STUDIES. On Standard Form 18, Item 11, change "Appraisal Reviews of Rent Comparability Studies" to read: REVIEWS OF RENT COMPARABILITY STUDIES. Multiple awards may be made as a result of this RFQ.
