The Government intends to purchase on a Brand Name or Equal basis Maintenance Assist Module (MAM) Cases equal to the following manufactured by Zero Enclosures: (1) Zero Control Number 61-101699 Case Assembly with foam (83 each) in accordance with Zero Part Number 7921306-00 Rev. A. These cases shall be identical to CY-8443A/UYK-44(V) cases. They shall have a fitted foam insert provided in the upper and lower portion of each case in accordance with the specifications. The top portion shall be attached to the lower with a scissor latch. A pressure release valve shall be installed in the front of each case. The units shall conform to the required specifications of the CY-8443A/UYK-44(V) cases. Case serial numbers are required from 400 to 483. Sixty-eight (68) are to be shipped to Bridgeport, NJ and the remaining fifteen (15) are to be shipped to Ventura, Ca.. Portable cases are required for storage of AN/UYK-44 Maintenance Assist Modules aboard USN and FMS ships. FMS requirements are further broken into Spanish AEGIS Weapon System (AWS)(F 101-F104) and PMS 410-13 Verticle Launching System (VLS)(F124-F127, LCF O1-LCF 04, and DD 2230-DD2236). The quantity of cases vary between USN ships depending upon the ship baseline. The end result is that a total of eighty-three (83) cases will be required. Award is to be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All contractors shall submit their fax quote, which shall be considered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, to 540-653-7016 Attn: Barbara Walters. If contractor quotes other than Zero Enclosures, they must provide the manufacturer specifications and technical data. All contractors shall provide their Cage Code, Dunn and Bradstreet Number, Tax Identification Number, SIC code and FSC Code. All contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Data Base. All items are to shipped to the various shipping points on a FOB Destination basis.
