The National Park Service is seeking IDIQ archeological services for park units in Maryland, northern Virginia, the eastern panhandle of West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Types of services include Archeological Clearance Memorandums/Reports, Monitoring Memorandums/Reports, Archeological Overview and Assessments, Archeological Surveys and Identification Studies, Archeological Research, Memorandums of Agreement, Archeological Data Recovery studies, Plans for Unanticipated Archeological Discoveries, Archeological Collections Processing, and Archeological Collections Research. Guidelines for providing these services can be found in "The Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for Archeology and Historic Preservation," "National Park Service Cultural Resource Management Guidelines," and, as appropriate to the location of the particular NPS park unit, "Standards and Guidelines for Archeological Investigations in Maryland" 1994, "Guidelines for Archeological Investigations in Virginia"1996, and "Guidelines for Archeological Investigations in the District of Columbia" 1998. The estimated period of performance will consist of a 12 month base period and four option periods of 12 months duration each. It is anticipated that this RFP will be available mid-June, 1999.
