This sources sought announcement is issued for the purpose of identifying sources for a 58 foot Type "A" Sandwich Radome for a Long-Range L Band Air Route Surveillance Radar (ARSR) Model 3. The radome must be a rigid, self-supporting shell type structure of double curved panels to form a spherical dome. The panel frames should be randomly oriented to reduce boresight error and sidelobe perturbations for the radar application. The radome design shall support panel sizes suitable for packing, shipping and installation at a remote site. The radome panel design should permit all panel assembly inside the radome and permit easy panel removal for replacement or repair. The radome should include a lighting protection system, a zenith hatch with a vent and a base access hatch. This announcement is only an expression of interest. Future requirements and procurements are uncertain. The Government does not presently have a requirement and does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement.
