SYNOPSIS: PROCUREMENT NOTICE -- Plans and Specifications for solicitation N68711-99-M-3324 will be issued on or about 15 June 1999 over the Internet at http://www.efdswest.navfac.navy.mil/pages/ebsroot as an Electronic Bid Solicitation (EBS). The response time required by FAR 5.203 would begin on the date of issuance of the EBS solicitation. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a Firm Fixed-Price Contract. REPAIR PUMPS #5, #6, #7 & INTERMEDIATE PUMP STATION. The work includes furnishing all labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary to Repair pumps #5, #6, #7 and replace discharge piping fittings and valves. Provide a pump control valve on each discharge with electric controls. Demo existing discharge piping and paint all new piping, fittings and valves and other incidental related work. Perform time is 120 calendar days. The tentative issue date is on or about 15 June 1999 with the opening date approximately 30 days later. The SIC code is 1623. The related small business standard is 17.0 million. The cost range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The proposed contract is 100% Set-aside for Small Business Concerns.
