The only approved source for this solicitation is Rolls-Royce Allison FSCM: 63005. Solicitation F41608-99-R-46054 is issued as a request for proposal(RFP). Contract line item 0001 is for 50 EA of Fluid Filter (NSN 2915-00-859-2915RW, P/N 6821460). Size/Dimensions: 8 in length by 3 1/2 in width; Form/Fit/Function Description: Mounts on bottom of the high press fuel pump and filters fuel to the engine. Has a bypass valve for a continuous flow of fuel in the event the filter becomes clogged. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Steel. Materiel is to be delivered to Kelly AFB, Tx(FB2059) as follows: 50 EA -- 30 Sep 99. Acceptance and FOB are at origin. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructionsto Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items also applies to this acquisition. Qualifications requirements are in accordance with Commercial procedures.
