This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a breakdown of room days will be provided. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) N00102-99-R-2058. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect in Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. The associated standard industrial classification code is 7011. The small business size standard is $5,000,000.00. Seven (7) lots of rooms will be required in support of the SSN 769 SRA to be located at the Naval Subbase, Groton, CT for the following estimated dates: 06 JUL 99 through 07 OCT 99. An estimated total number of room days is 5219. Only ACTUAL rooms utilized by PNS personnel will be paid for. A minimum of 48 hours notice will be given to the contractor of rooms not being utilized by PNS personnel and sold back. All rooms must be a minimum of 225 square feet not including the bathroom or closet area. ACTUAL room requirements will be faxed to all interested prospective contractors upon request.
