Project consists of constructing a new one/two-story building using steel framing, with masonry walls, combination single ply membrane and metal roofing, various interior finishes, construction of all necessary electrical lighting and power, complete communications system, installation of complete fire detection and alarm systems and installation of complete heating and ventilation and air-conditioning systems. The total size of the structure is approximately 22,000 square feet. The existing building site is relatively free of trees and shrubs requiring minimal clearing and earthwork. Project includes the relocation and/or extension of water, sewer, gas and electric lines and communications ducts as well as the removal of some existing asphalt paving and the construction of new concrete and asphalt parking areas and drives. A firm fixed price contract award is anticipated. The contractor will provide all plant, labor, materials and supervision necessary to accomplish the above described work. All work is located on the Air National Guard operated area of Alpena County Regional Airport, Alpena, Michigan. SIC 1542. This procurement may be considered for HUBZone set-aside.
