The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is conducting a market survey for the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) requirement for the E-6 Program at Tinker AFB, OK; Patuxent River NAS, MD; Travis AFB, CA; and Offutt AFB, NE. This requirement include engineering services, materials, Support Equipment (SE) maintenance, supply support services, and management of off-site vendor repair functions. This requirement does not include maintenance requirements with the exception of SE maintenance. The E-6 maintenance concept is government organizational to commercial depot level for most components, with CLS providing the necessary supply services. This logistics program will support a fleet of sixteen (16) aircraft and approximately 16,000 flight hours per year. The Boeing Company is the developer of the E-6 which is a derivative of the commercial 707 airframe equipped with CFM56 engines.
