The United States, Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office (RL), is seeking proposals for workers' compensation claims administrative services at the Hanford Site. The Government anticipates utilizing a fixed-unit price contract. This contract will be set-aide for small business concers, under SIC code 8999 ($5M). The Hanford Site contains approximately 12,000 contractor employees who are primarily employed by four prime contractors. The Hanford Site has a mixture of industrial, office, environmental remediation, laboratory, and construction work. These services are required for the administration and management of new workers' compensation claims for those 12,000 contractor employees and to retire pre-existing claims. Potential offerors should be familar with the State of Washington laws and regulations regarding workers' compensation. The final RFP will be issued on or about June 11, 1999.
