Z -- EMERGENCY GENERATOR REPAIRS SOL RFQ 231-0034 POC Thomas Dufort, Regional Contract Specialist, (570) 547-1641, ext. 548 Contractor will be required to perform all work associated with repairs of two Kohler Generators, Model 750ROZ101. Contractor shall be required to perform all work necessary to make a new replacement of the radiator on both generators and to make a new replacement of a leaking rear oil seal on one generator. Work shall be completed and tested on one generator before initiating work on the second one. All work shall be performed on-site at the Federal Correctional Institution -- McKean, located in Lewis Run, Pennsylvania. Replacement parts will include new radiator assembly, fan belts, hoses, water pump, gaskets, water elements, block heater, thermostat, exhaust clamps, anti-freeze, crank vent filter system, air filters, rubber ninety-degree elbows, fuel lines, oil seal, and other possible miscellaneous parts. The contract shall have 120 calendar days from the receipt of the Notice To Proceed to complete the job. The work is projected to begin in September 1999 with one hundred twenty (120) days allowed for completion time. All responsible sources may submit a quotation. This solicitation is not set-aside for any socio-economic programs (i.e., small business, labor surplus area, etc...). Background investigations/clearances will be required. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this project is 1711 (size standard is $7.0 million).
