West, 907/753-2552/Constracting Officer, Corps of Engineers This contract incorporates six Defense Energy Supply Center (DESC) projects located at Eareckson AS, at Shemya, Alaska. A combination of repair, maintenance and minor construction will occur on 5 fuel storage tanks. The work will include: sandblasting and application of three-coat moisture cure polyurethane coating system on Tanks 123, 126 and 127; sandblast and apply exterior moisture cure polyurethane coating system at spot locations for tanks 124, and 125; installation of a thick film liner (non-reinforced) on floor and 40" up the shell and columns on tank 123; three-coat epoxy polyamide coating system at repair locations and epoxy polyamide interior top coat on floor and 40" up shell for tanks 124, 125, 126, and 127; miscellaneous structural, piping, instrumentation repairs to all tanks; sandblasting and application of a three-coat moisture cure polyurethane system to piping and valves.
