Propane Generators at two remote sites, to provide additional energy
for two existing Aircraft Warning System lights which reside on top of
two power poles near the Altamont Pass, CA. The lights are currently
powered by existing solar panels and a 24-volt battery back up system.
The requirement is to provide an additional source for re-charging the
existing 24-volt batteries. The minimum requirement of electric energy
is 4400 watt-hours per day for each site. The fuel tank should be
sized for a minimum of 60 days of operation. Provide system components,
fabricate, install and run the system for 30 days acceptance period.
Provide an all weather container or a pre-fabricated small building to
house the fuel cell or generator and existing batteries. The shelter
shall be capable of withstanding 140 miles per hour winds. The total
project area shall not exceed 40 feet in width and 60 feet in length.
