Weather Emergency Assistance Center, (MWEAC), Bluemont, VA intends to incorporate in a delivery order award, an item which is open market and a sole source with the manufacturer sole proprietor, Motorola, Hanover, MD. This open market item is within the 25% limit of an open market purchase on a delivery order according to Motorola's GSA schedule contract terms and conditions. The item is an intricate part of a complete system for Motorola Astro Saber II hand held radios. The item to be purchased is: Motorola ENH: Multikey/Analog MDC OTAR, part #H868, 100 each. A market survey has been performed by the Program Office and a determination was made that the Motorola Multikey/Analog MDC OTAR offers the best value to the Government and best meets the needs and requirements of FEMA concerning integration into the Motorola hand held radio system. Items will be delivered to five different FEMA locations across the United States.
