The original CBD notice dated 14 Oct 1998 is amended to broaden the technical and management business support to include a Municipal Water Roll-Out Program (1) to provide training and technical assistance in fiscal management, service delivery, technical improvements and citizen participation mechanisms to competitively selected municipalities for development of water sector projects and (2) to strengthen the technical and business capacity of the Ukraine Water Technology Center (UWTC) so it may be able to provide long-term assistance to municipalities. It is expected that the contractor (CH2M Hill International Services, Denver, CO) will provide hands-on assistance to UWTC during the initial six-month period, followed by six to nine-month period of facilitating the assistance provided by UWTC to other municipalities, and ending with a 15-month period during which advisory services will be provided only on an interim basis.
