This is a modification to a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation has been reopened to allow large businesses to submit proposals and to change the delivery requirement. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals N00164-99-R-0051. The solicitation document hereby incorporates all applicable provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. The standard industrial code assigned to this action is 3357. The Government requires the following product: Line Item 0001 Cable, Special Purpose Electric, drawing number 77C721887, 41,000 feet. Delivery of 10,000 feet is required within 60 days from effective date of contract and delivery of the additional 31,000 feet is requiredwithin 120 days from effective date of contract.
