The 15th Contracting Squadron at Hickam AFB, HI is conducting a market survey to determine the existence of potential sources and pricing to provide cable TV signals to Johnston Atoll Air Force Base located about 700 miles SW of Honolulu, HI in the Johnston Atoll. Cable TV Service is needed for an average of 1200 Johnston Atoll Air Force Base residents. They are currently receiving approximately 18 television channels and approximately 5 FM radio stations. We would like to add at least one Honolulu television station. At a minimum ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS, ESPN, Discovery & HBO shall be offered. Equivalent or better service is acceptable. Number of stations that offeror can provide is not limited to numbers stated above. There are government owned cable TV satellite reception dishes and equipment installed on Johnston Island. This service is for transmission to Johnston Atoll Air Force Base only. Please provide a rough estimate of pricing for feasibility of continuing this acquisition.
