On or about 6/16/1999, this office will issue a Request for Proposal for construction of Carrier Annex at Northfield MN. Proposals will be opened on 7/15/1999 at 3:00 PM. THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC PROPOSAL OPENING. The value of the work is estimated to be between $1,750,000.00 and $2,250,000.00. Description of the work is the project consists of construction of a one-story, steel frame building of approximately 22,250 gsf which includes an enclosed garage, workroom and support areas, and an enclosed mail platform. Paved maneuvering and parking areas are also included. The site is located in the Riverview Industrial Park, Northfield, MN, at the intersection of Agate Road and Cannon Road near the intersection of Agate Road and Highway #3. The contractor will be required to commence work within 10 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and complete within 330 calendar days. Liquidated damages will be accessed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. There will be a NON-REFUNDABLE FEE FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
