H -- PROFESSIONAL INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE PERSONNEL AND RELATED SERVICES SOL A-99-TBAR-06 DUE 062899 POC Dwight Stephens, 202-622-0795 or Rosa Perry, 202-622-0797, Contracting Officer The Department of the Treasury (Departmental Offices) announces an opportunity for comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Services for the Department of the Treasury Main Building, Washington, DC. The Main Treasury Building is a National Historic Landmark structure that is occupied by the Secretary of the Treasury and his staff. Industrial Hygiene Services shall include but not be limited to consultation, surveys, sampling, monitoring, analysis, assessment, specification review, and surveying activities within the Main Treasury Building while the facility is being modernized. The Contractor shall provide professional industrial hygiene personnel under the direct supervision of a Certified Industrial Hygienist certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. The Contractor shall provide Industrial Hygiene Services for a broad spectrum of potentially hazardous conditions. The Contractor shall monitor and survey workplaces, operations, activities that will involve Treasury Contractors, Treasury personnel, or some other combination. This requirement is set-aside for small business concerns. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 8999. The small business size standard is $5M in annual sales (based on average annual receipts for the last three (3) fiscal years). All work performed by the industrial hygienist shall be accomplished on a task order basis under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The period of performance of services shall be for a base period of twelve (12) months, with four (4) additional twelve (12) month option periods. Solicitation for this requirement shall be available or on about June 28, 1999 with proposals due on or about August 2, 1999.
