Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions submitted through June 16, 1999, the cut-off date for receipt of questions. QUESTION: Vendor states there are two options regarding this item. Need to indicate which of the following two options are required: 10" conflat flange or ISO 200. ANSWER: 10" conflat QUESTION: What are the vacuum levels for each item and the product? ANSWER: 1. (Turbo V-1000 HT) manfactured by Varian or equivalent. The vacuum level specification for base pressure is 1.5x10 to the minus 9 torr down to 1x10 to the minus 10 torr for the turbo pumps. 2. Vacuum pump, Triscroll 300, manufactured by Varian or equivalent, pumping speed 8.8 CFM, 115 VAC, oil-less dry scroll. 3. Vacuum pump, Triscroll 600, manufactured by Varian or equivalent, 3 phase 208 VAC, pumping speed 17.7 CFM, oil-less dry scroll. 4. Dry scroll vacuum pump, manufactured by Edwards, Model ESDP30A scroll pump or equivalent, 3 phase 208 VAC, pumping speed 17.6 CFM, oil-less dry scroll. QUESTION: Item 9. Do you need a single phase or three (3) phase vacuum pump for model GVSP30? ANSWER: It is three phase. QUESTION: In regard to line item 9. Is the model number GVSP30 for an Edwards vacuum pump correct? My sources tell me that they do not show this particular model number but do show a model number GVSP80. Would you please confirm. ANSWER: GVSP30 is correct. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended.
