sarah.wiley@dtra.mil. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a
requirement to integrate a state-of-the-art, commercially based
communications analysis tool with existing DTRA operability assessment
tools, to dramatically improve family of systems operability
assessment results, while drastically reducing the assessment schedule.
The approach is to use this contract to perform network analysis of a
system, using the effects data for a combined nuclear environment
provided as Government Furnished Information (GFI) by DTRA. The goal is
to achieve effective, efficient, and timely assessments that can be
applied across a broad range of military systems in a combined nuclear
environment. The family of systems tools will maximize automation and
minimize the requirement for manual data manipulation and analysis.
The objective is to develop, validate, and demonstrate an operability
assessment capability by performing a family of systems analysis in a
combined nuclear environment. The requirement includes one funded
option for an additional assessment, and two unfunded options for
additional assessments. The facility clearance required is secret. To
obtain a copy of the solicitation, please e-mail requests to
sarah.wiley@dtra.mil. This requirement is 100% set aside for small
business participation. The estimated release date for the solicitation
is 1 July 1999. See numbered Note 1. Posted 06/16/99 (W-SN343716).
