20 -- RE-MANUFACTURING EFFORTS AND ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE ADC MK2 MOD 1 SOL N00024-93-C-6247 POC A.R. KETCHUM, Contracting Officer, SEA 02612, (703)602-7707 The Naval Sea Systems Command plans to execute a sole source modification under Contract N00024-93-C-6247 with GEC Marconi Hazeltine Corporation, 115 Bay State Drive, Braintree, MA 02184, for re-manufacturing efforts and an additional 300 man-hours of engineering services. The modification will be negotiated pursuant to 10 U.S. C. 2304 (c)(1). GEC Marconi Hazeltine is the only known company which currently possesses the in-depth technical knowledge of the equipment required to satisfactorily perform the work. No other sources have the technical qualifications and necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
