This project consists of 2 culvert and 3 bridge removals, installation of treated timber sills and backwalls, furnishing and installation of 800 mm glulam deck panel bridge, rehabilitation of bridge superstructure, installation of riprap, treatment of roadway, ditching, restoration of drainage channels and installation of instream structures. All bridges in this contract are in the vicinity of Anita Bay on northwest Etolin Island, approximately 45 air kilometers nouthwest of Wrangell, Alaska. Anita Bay is only accessible by float plane or boat. All sites are accessible by motor vehicle from the Anita Bay road system. The 15,240 mm (50 ft) Hamilton EZ-Bridge is located on Forest Development Road (FDR) 6546 at kilometer 0.32, on Average Creek, the 18,288 mm (60 ft) Hamilton EZ-Bridge is located on FDR 6546 at kilometer 3.22 and the 12,192 mm (48 ft) Hamilton EZ-Bridge is located on FDR 6542 at kilometer 0.8.
