Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Midwest Area, has a project entitled Sewage Disposal Improvements, Avian Disease and Oncology Lab, East Lansing, MI. The work includes but is not limited to: Site work and demolition, concrete work, feather traps, pipe laying and connections to three buildings at the Avian Disease and Oncology Lab. The Magnitude of Construction is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The period of performance has not yet been determined, but the performance of the contract will be after receipt of a Notice to Proceed (NTP) (NTP estimated to be issued in September/October 1999). A Bid Bond as well as Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required. The solicitation will be issued as Request for Proposal No. 5114-9-3126 and will be available on or about July 14, 1999, with proposals to be received not later than 2:00 p.m. (CST), August 12, 1999. The solicitation is issued pursuant to full and open competition and is unrestricted. Standard Industrial Classification Code of 1623, with a corresponding size standard of $17.0M.
