The Munitions Directorate will post proposed topics, with the Technical POC_s name and phone number, etc., on our Home Page, ULP [http://www.mn.afrl.af.mil/public/contract/sbir.html]. The proposed topics will contain the same information as will be posted on the _DoD SBIR/STTR Home Page_ [http://www.acq.osd.mil/sadbu/sbir] on 1 October 1999 and published in DoD SBIR Program Solicitation 00.1 on 1 December 1999. The purpose of this early release is to allow prospective offerors to contact the Directorate_s technical personnel prior to the solicitations opening date of 1 December 1999. The current solicitation states that oral communication with DoD components regarding the technical content of the solicitation during the Phase I proposal preparation periods are prohibited for reasons of competitive fairness. Therefore, the technical POC listed in each topic will not be able to discuss the topics with offerors after 30 November 1999.
