Prospective contractor shall furnish replacement turbine wear rings for each of the three turbines at the Folsom Powerplant located near Folsom, California, in Sacramento County. The prospective contractor is required to furnish six (6) stainless steel and six (6) aluminum bronze castings for seal and wear rings; and the performance period wil be approximately 90 days. Replacement wear rings will be required for the upper and lower runner wear rings and for the upper and lower stationary wear rings for each turbine. The powerplant contains three 66.24 MW hydroelectric generating units. The turbines were manufactured by Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company. The location of the powerplant is as shown on the location map Drawing No. 1 (485-D-1). Wear rings and appurtenant parts shall be delivered to the powerplant located in Folsom, California.
