NSN 6625-01-266-3494 (Competitive). This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a commercial item prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation, M67004-99-R-3012, incorporates provisions in effect through Defense Acquisition Circular 91-6 and Federal Axquisition Circular 97-05. SIC Code is 3662. Small Business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is being issued as an oral solicitation using simplified acquisition procedures and is a competitive procurement. The contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price, FOB Destination for 365 each multimeters (only). The approved part numbers and manufactures respectively are as follows: CAGE 58536, P/N A-A-50734; CAGE 1HBK1, P/N MIL-HDBK-300; CAGE 18876, P/N 13235191; CAGE 89536, P/N 8025B. Inspection and Acceptance will be accomplished at Destination with deliery requirement as soon as possible, incremental delivery is acceptable. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses are being implemented in this requirement. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, applies except paragraph (s): Ignore(a), (d), (h), and all of (i). Paragraph (b) offers may be submitted by FAX and in addition to the DUNS number requirement in (j), the contractor is required to include their DOD Central Contractor Registratin (CCR) number. FAR 52-212-2, Evaluation -- Commerical Items, is applicable less paragraph (b). Also, all subfactors and factors are significantly less important than price except delivery. Delivery is approximately equal to price. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification -- Commercial Items with Alternate I, shall be completed with proposal to validate size status.
