The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire on a 100% Small Business Set Aside basis, Intake Family Therapist Services for Navy and other military families at the Family Service Center, Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, IL. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial items acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, using Subpart 13.5 test program procedures. The required services shall be provided by one full-time equivalent working forty hours per week, exclusive of Federal Holidays. The Contractor is responsible for providing screening, evaluation, information and referral, and brief term counseling for individuals, couples, and families. The Contractor is also responsible for conducting group therapy counseling sessions on topics which include but are not limited to: marriage preparation and enrichment, men who batter women, women surviving abuse, adults molested as children, single parenting, eating disorders, youth/adolescents, and loss and grief issues. A Firm Fixed Price purchase order is anticipated with a base period of performance commencing 01 October 1999 through 30 September 2000, with two (2), one-year option provisions.
