Contractor shall provide all plant, materials, equipment, tools and labor required to perform the work necessary to complete the project Maintain/Repair AGE Facility at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings. Work consists of but is not limited to: Remove existing vehicle exhaust systems and install new systems including fans, ductwork and hose drops. Install new make-up air system, a wet-pipe sprinkler system including upgrade of the water service line and local alarm and remote transmission to the fire station. Remove existing lead base paint and vinyl-asbestos floor covering and replace with a chemical resistant urethane coating. Remodel men's restroom. Install emergency lighting system. Magnitude is between $500,000.00 -- $1,000,000.00. Performance period is 210 calendar days. Solicitation will be available on or about 19 JUL 99 with a Closing Date of 18 AUG 99. This is a Straddle Bid Project. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall beconsidered by the agency. Specifications and drawings will be available on CD ROM only. Format for the specifications is Word 6.0. The drawings are Autocad 12. There is no cost for the package.
