This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information provided in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested under simplified procedures or federal supply schedule and a written solicitation will not be issued. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Nida, Inc, 300 South John Rhodes Boulevard, Melbourne FL. Solicitation number F22600-99-Q0461 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3825 small business standard size is 500 employees. Type of set aside: None. The incorporated document provisions and clauses are to be in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. This requirement is for the following items: Line Item 0001. 50 NIDA 130A Test Consoles. Delivery terms shall be FOB destination with delivery 60 days after award and shall delivered to 81 CS/SCX ADPE#82, Building 4002 Dock 1C, Keesler AFB MS 39534-5000. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order; FAR Part 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items ( Jun 99) is incorporated by reference, applies to this acquisition and is amended to include the following: Submit signed and dated offers to 81 CONS/LGCS, 310 M Street, Room 102, Keesler AFB, MS 39534-2147 at or before 1530 (3:30 p.m.) CST 20 Jul 99.
