Service (NOS) has a requirement for contractual support of the Physical
Oceanographic Real-Time System (PORTS) in Narragansett Bay, Rhode
Island. Contractor shall install, operate, maintain and repair three
current measurement systems; perform unscheduled maintenance and repair
of five water level measurement systems; operate, maintain and repair
six meteorological stations; operate, maintain and repair the data
telemetry systems/ operate, maintain and repair four
conductivity/temperature sensors; operate, maintain and repair data
management systems. All instruments and additional required components
of the current measurement systems, as well as all necessary spare
components and specialized test equipment required to assure reliable
operations of the entire PORTS shall be provided by NOS. Period of
performance is 1 year with four option years. Standard Classification
code is 8999. All responsible sources may submit an offer to the RFP
which shall be considered by the agency. Copiesof the solicitation will
only be provided in response to written or faxed requests received
