Administration has a requirement for research to support
microbiological, nutritional, and toxicological studies and other
chemical support services. The contractor shall provide reliable
analytical results that complement the assurance that microbiological,
toxicological and nutritional testing is conducted with test articles
of confirmed identity, known purity, homogeneity, stability, and
verify the concentration of the test article in the test vehicle. These
services shall be provided in a timely manner to guard against
administration of uncharacterized chemicals, toxic chemicals, or
decomposed chemicals, non-homogeneous chemical/vehicle mixes, unstable
mixes, incorrectly formulated mixes and contaminated water. In
addition, these services shall be provided for study specific chemical
analyses as requested per protocol. The solicitation will only be
available on the FDA web page at http://www.fda.gov/oc/ofacs/contracts.

software will be available at the same site. It is the offeror's
responsibility to monitor the FDA web page for the release of the
solicitation and amendments. The RFP should be available for
downloading o/a fifteen days after publication of this announcement.
The FDA reserves the right to award without discussions. Technical
questions shall be received not later than twelve (12) days after
release of the Request for Proposal (RFP). Technical questions should
