This is a one-time simplified acquisition procurement and is unrestricted. The work invovles removal of existing aggregate surface built-up roof, installation of polysiocyanurate board and a two ply styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) modified bitumen with factory applied mineral granules. Only a limited number of Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages are available and will be mailed out on a first available basis. Requests for RFQ packages must be in writing, either by fax or e-mail, and must provide the RFQ number. No packages will be mailed after 26 July 1999. A site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, 3 August 1999, at 10:30 a.m. To get onboard the base contractors must have drivers license and proof of insurance. Report to building 1215, NAVFAC Contracts Office, and be ready to leave for site by 10:30 a.m. If you plan to attend site visit, you must submit your name, phone number, company name and number of persons who will attend no later than noon Friday, 30 July 1999.
