The successful contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials and supervision. The proposed construction includes the reuse and reconditioning of the original mechanical equipment components, signal & motion controls, landing doors & door operating equipment, car gates and gate operator, electromechanical interlocks, car and hall operating fixtures, all wiring and hoisting machine brakes will be replaced. This procurement is open to competition among both large and small business concerns pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The applicable SIC code is 1799 and the small business size standard is $7.0 mil. Copies of the specifications and drawings should be available tentatively July 29, 1999 and the bid opening date is September 2, 1999.
