AT STATION SIUSLAW RIVER, FLORENCE, OR. Furnish all labor material and
equipment necessary to repaint the exterior of the equipment building
at USCG Station Siuslaw River. Work includes but is not limited to the
following (1) Repaint all previously painted exterior surfaces of the
Equipment Building including but not limited to the siding doors, and
window frames (2) Install up to 20 new cedar shingles where broken or
missing on roof. (3) Apply a mixture of stain and fire retardant
additive onto new and existing wood roofing shingles. Drawings and
specifications can be obtained on a first come, first served basis, at
no charge. ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Materials need not be returned. Estimated Range is $25,000 and
$100,000.00. The performance period is 60 calendar days after receipt
of Notice to Proceed. The procurement is subject to the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small
business participation. The applicable SIC code is 1721. Small business
size standard is $7.0 million. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION
BEING SOLICITED AND ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES ARE ENCOURAGED TO RESPOND.

Department of Transportation (DOT Office of Small and Disadvantage
Business Utilization) has programs to assist minority, women owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts
receivable financing. Anticipated Request for Quotation issue date is
