Remove all corroded steel reinforcements. Thoroughly clean surfaces for bonding agent application. Replace the entire concrete section of strutual slab, sidewalk with thickness as specified. Excavated tunnel to arrest water infilteration at joints. Reinstall expansion joint to orginial condition. Standard classification Sic code 1711. The facility under this contract may contain asbestos materials throughout. All work shall be done in accordance with the statement of work, Barc-Special conditions, state and local building codes, Washington Suburban Sanitary Comm., plumbing and Gasfitting regulations and standards and the National Electric code. All work to be completed in 60 days after notice to Proceed. This requirement is being procured under the Simplified Acquistion Procedures. Magnitude of project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Only one site visit will be conducted. It is scheduled for Thursday August 5, 1999 at 9:00 a.m., meeting at the back of Building 200, Barc-East, in Beltsville, Maryland 20705-2350. This procurement is set-aside for emerging small business (ESB) concerns.
