This acquisition is subject to FAR Clause 52.213-18, Availability of Funds and shall have an April 2000 start for on site construction. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary for the cleaning and cement mortar lining of existing unlined 6, 8, and 12 inch water lines. Phase 1 is bounded by Zero Avenue on the north, First Avenue on the south, "O" Street on the east and "H" track on the west. All existing gate valves shall be replaced with new valves and designated fire hydrants, pipe sections and fittings shall be replaced. Also included are new water services to selected buildings with pressure reducing valves and meters installed in pits. A temporary by-pass piping system shall be provided. Surfaces damaged by the work shall be restored. Also included is incidental related work. Estimated Price Range: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 Number of Days in Contract: 150 Number of Bid Items: One SIC Code: 1623, Water, Sewer and Pipeline Construction, $17 Million.
