Maintenance, 15450 Hangar Road, Kansas City, MO 64147-1219. The period of performance is from 1 Oct 99 through 30 Sep 00. The contractor is required to furnish all labor, equipment, tools, materials, to include parts, supervision, and other services necessary to perform vehicle operations, maintenance, and analysis services. We intend to negotiate with J. C. & N. Maintenance because (1) they are already on site and prepared to perform this requirement for the above period, (2) negotiating with J. C. & N. Maintenance would be more cost effective for the government due to the elimination of a new contractor's start-up cost, mobility requirement, and the cost associated with preparing a new solicitation, (3) J.
