announcement printed on 22 April 1999. Contractor shall provide all
labor, supervision, material, equipment, tools and transportation and
do all things necessary to revegetate a portion of streambank along
Ship Creek located at Cottonwood Park, Fort Richardson, Alaska. The
contractor shall utilize soil bioengeering techniques (consists of a
layer of rootwads, two layers of coir logs with live siltation
installed between them, two layers of brush with dormant cuttings
between each layer, and vegetative mats then grass seed placed on top
of the reconstructed stream bank (similar to the process described in
the Streambank Revegetation and Protection Guide issued by the Alaska
Department of Fish and Game). This requirement is 100% Set Aside for
Small Business. The SIC Code is 1629, with a size standard of
$17,000,000. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and
$250,000. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid which
