NTTC-RS high speed digital imagers manufactured by DRS Military Systems. NAWCAD Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with DRS Military Systems, 138 Bauer Drive, Oakland, NJ 07436 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to procure up to 30 NTTC-RS high speed digital imagers, the final processing of up to 60 sensor packages which are unique to the NTTC-RS digital imagers, and the conversion of up to 3 CCD wafers from color to monochrome for use in the sensor packages. The contract will allow for the choice of AC or DC and monochrome or color NTTC-RS digital imagers. All items will be used with the Airborne Separation Video System (ASVS), which is manufactured by DRS Military Systems. The NTTC-RS high speed digital imagers are the only digital imagers that interface with the unique data control and data busses of the ASVS, and minimize the amount of hardware mounted on the outside of an aircraft. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.However, interested parties may submit a capability statement. All capability statements, received in response to this notice, will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement.
