Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia intends to solicit, on a sole source basis, with CAE Electronics, C.P. 1800 Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada H4L 4x4 8585 Cote de Liesse, Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada H4T 1G6 to provide a Y2K certification evaluation and training of the Software Support Activity (SSA) and Technical Training Equipment Systems (TTES) for MHC-51 Class Machinery Ship Control System (M/SCS). The SSA and TTES systems were purchased on a NAVSEA modified ship contract from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), CAE Electronics. The OEM developed the source code and circuit cards for the M/SCS. All Y2K certification evaluations on the SSA and TTES systems are to be completed by 30 November 1999.All training is to be completed by 31 December 1999.
