Contractor will be required to furnish all parts (except x-ray tubes and houseings),labor, and travel to provide on-site maintenance and repair of one General Electric Computerized Tomographic System, model 9800 HiSpeed Advantage located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia. System software maintenance is to be be included. Normal hours of coverage are 8am to 5pm local time Monday through Friday but emergency repairs may be required. Service personnel must be on-site, making the repairs within four hours of notification repairs are required. The contract period will be October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000 with three one year option periods. The Government reserves the right to award this contract on other than lowest cost based on a technical proposal which is required by each offeror submitting a proposal.
