K -- RADIO TOWER MODIFICATION ON THE COLVILLE NATIONAL FOREST SOL RFQ-R6-8-99-Q42 POC Kris Bellini, Contracting Officer, 509-826-3072 This is a definite quantity, indefinite delivery, firm fixed price type contract. Contractor shall install Radio Towers, Antennas, Cables, and Associated harware at various locations on the Colville National Forest. Orders shall be placed after sites are prepared for tower modification and the site are accessible. It is comtemplated that all project items will be ordered between of contract award and November 30, 2000, the effective period of the contract. Contractor shall install towers, extensions in accordance with manufacturers specifications. Contractor shall install and inspect the tower using a certified journeyman climber and provide the Forest Service with a letter of certification (warranty) for the completed tower installation. Contractor shall provide 2 certified climbers at all times climbing is occurring, of which one must be a journeyman climber. Contractor shall install antennas, cables, and supports in accordance with manufacturers specification. Contractor shall remove old existing antennas, cables and hardware and return all removed material to the Colville Supervisors Office. All tower hardware, tower bases, tower caps antennas, antenna mounts, cable, connenctors, and mounts shall be provided by the Government. Contractor shall transport all tower assemblies and materials to be installed from the Colville Supervisors Office to the site and be responsible for the security and accountable for all materials.
