Scope of work consists, but is not strictly limited to providing all labor, material, transportation equipment, temporary surface protection and other services necessary to relocate the Office of Health and Human Services (HHS) from Bankers Building, 105 West Adams, Chicago, Illinois, to Two Illinois Center, 233 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. The office relocation includes new and existing systems furniture, case-goods, and equipment for HHS staff of approximately 505 employees. General Services Administration (GSA) will provide elevator operator(s) for the origin, elevator operator(s) for the destination, and dock supervision during the completion of work. Contractor will be required to work together with the furniture vendors to insure the move schedule is maintained. Completion time for this project, number of calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed, has not been determined. The relocation will be in four (4) different phases. Phase 1 is scheduled to start November 5, 1999. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 8399 with an Industry Small Business Size Standard (ISBSS) of an average annual gross revenue of the concern in the amount of $5.0 million.
