Laboratory has a requirement for 1 each automated, microidentation
hardness testing machine with the following minimum
requirements:automated, unattended analysis, multiple indent patterns
can be automatically run for each sample, up to 2500 points per run(a
point means co-ordinate values and vicker hardness number), single
sample leveler and 2.0 inch diameter self leveling sample holder, 1.0
micron resolution stepper controlled stage,2 axis 50 X 50 MM stage
travel, Loads 10gf to 1000gf pre-selected, 10X and 40X objective
lenses, capable of exporting the data to other computer systems,
complete computer system including software and hardware, monitors and
printers,CCD video camera, and image analysis processor for automated
vicker hardness measurements from indents. Paper copies will not be
