The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Contracting Center has a requirement to repair/replace wood and metal-framed windows in building 2792 on Fort Sam Houston, TX. This three-story building is located in a historical area and is subject to historical preservation requirements. The basic requirement is to repair/replace approximately 272 wooden single-pane windows. An additional option is to repair/replace approximately 140 metal windows with wooden windows. The building will be occupied throughout this project. The work will be done in six consecutive phases. The SIC code is 1793 and the small business standard is $7 million.
